What is CryptoKnights?
CryptoKnights can be succinctly described as a competitive game where players assume the role of medieval knights engaging in real-time combat using swords. The unique twist lies in its hybrid mechanics, combining elements of a Real-Time Fighting Game with a Digital Collectible Card Game through the use of playable cards for actions.
Game Modes
- Ranked Game
Ranked Games serve as the competitive ladder within CryptoKnights. Notably, players are matched based on their knights' levels and item strength, departing from conventional PvP ranking systems found in other games. Victorious knights gain experience points (XP) and may level up, while those who lose risk descending in rank due to XP loss.
- Normal Game
In Normal Games, the matchmaking follows the same principles as Ranked Games; however, participants do not gain or lose XP or RUBY. This mode is designed primarily for leisure or experimentation with new strategies.
- Story Mode
Story Mode engages players in combat against AI opponents across various scenarios, offering rewards upon completion. Although it functions as a tutorial, many players may find this mode to be both enjoyable and fulfilling.
- Tournament
Tournaments are structured competitions where clans compete head-to-head. Participants face off against opponents from various clans involved in the tournament, with performance contributing to leaderboard rankings and potential rewards.
- Boss Fight
This mode encourages clan members to collaborate against a powerful Boss boasting substantial health. The clan that achieves the highest scores is featured on the leaderboard and can earn associated prizes.
- Custom Match
Custom Matches allow friends to pair off against one another. This mode is particularly useful for organizing matches suited for eSports tournaments.
